The Past Presidents' Committee of the Zonta Club of Glens Falls selected Mary Ann Morreale‚ as Zontian of the year. Mary Ann was recognized with a hearty applause from membership at the February dinner meeting . Mary Ann reflects the qualities of a true Zontian:
"a ray of light ... an inspiration " and operates with"trustworthy and honest motives."
She has used her organizational and leadership skills in our club by serving in many facets: (but not limited to)

Spearheaded the Birthing Kit Project at the District 2 Conference .
Mary Ann transferred her membership from a Washington D.C. club when she purchased the family home in our district. She loves to travel and is a retired colonel.
As Margaret Thatcher wrote:
"Look at a day when you are supremely satisfied at the end...It's when you've had everything to do and you've done it." That's what Mary Ann does for Zonta every day by promoting the status and welfare of women and girls in our local and international communities through her diligent service!
|Members of the Zonta Club of Glens Falls attended a day long seminar focused on Nourishing, Mentoring and Building on the Strengths of members of Zonta.||
The Zonta Club of Glens Falls awarded scholarships to 5 local students at their annual dinner honoring the awardees. The Club raises the money for these awards through local activities including an all women's golf tournament and two craft shows: downtown in June in conjunction with LARAC, and at the Adirondack Balloon Festival in September.
